Did you watch Day 57 of the Big Brother reality TV show?
If you missed it we’ve got the highlights for you!
Is Bisola putting up a front?
All seemed okay this morning until Bisola wiped tears from her eyes after the morning workout session.
It seems the entertainment queen isn’t quite taking ThinTallTony’s Eviction very well. It all started yesterday during the Live Eviction Show when Ebuka called out ThinTallTony as the next Evicted Housemate. Gasps were heard coming from the other Housemates, as Biggie announced he had ten seconds to leave the House and Bisola started crying. She hugged him and he told her that it was going to be okay. After he left, they all sat in shock while Bisola continued crying.
The Housemates woke up this morning and got straight into it, starting off with their usual morning exercise. All seemed well and Bisola even joined TBoss, Bally and Bassey in leading the workout session.
It was only after the session that emotions got the better of her. For a moment there, she sat alone looking distraught and wiped tears from her eyes. She quickly gathered herself and went back into the House and got started with her chores.
She went about the morning chatting with her fellow Housemates, carrying on like every other day, singing one or two sad love songs. Another song she sang had lyrics that go like, “I miss you, miss you insane.”
Don Jazzy and DNA Twins for Song Task
Straight after delivering a sizzling performance on the Big Brother stage last night, DNA twins headed for the House to help the Housemates with their Song Task.
The Housemates burst out screaming with excitement when they heard this after new HoH Efe read the Task brief. Bassey even stood up and did an air punch.
The DNA twins were not ‘flying solo’, as music producer, singer and songwriter Don Jazzy joined them, much to the Housemates’ excitement. Bisola and Efe stood on the couches and watched in disbelief while the other Housemates, who were equally excited, screamed when he walked in.
This weeks’ theme is “Nigerian Entertainment Week” and what better way to start it off than to have a music icon such as Don Jazzy and ‘fresh’ artists, such as the DNA twins to help the Housemates with their song.
The guests were in the House to help inspire the Housemates and guide them in the making of the song. The Housemates composed a song during the music week a few weeks ago and this weeks’ Task is basically to transform this song into a Nigerian hit.
Efe had informed the Housemates earlier that for this week’s Task, they were required to compose a song, shoot the song’s music video, as well as make a short film.
“It will be a busy week, so be prepared,” read the brief from Biggie.
Biggie then played the Housemates a video clip of DNA Twins’ performance on stage during last night’s Live Eviction Show.
Immediately after entering the House, the guests were shown around, as customary when a visitor pops in. Don Jazzy joked, saying he had actually come to sleep in the House. They all laughed.
Getting down to ‘business’, the DNA twins told the Housemates their music career launched after entering a talent search competitions, Glo X-Factor and The Voice Nigeria, adding that there’s always an opportunity in competitions such as these ones, as well as Big Brother.
“This (Big Brother) is a huge platform. You must have a plan in mind,” they said.
The Housemates haven’t had a visitor in over a week and today’s guests were a real treat for them, especially since the visitors stayed a little longer than any other visitor and helped them with their Song Task.
Everything Na double-double
It was double the fun and double the gain for the Housemates, as not only did they draw inspiration from their guests but they also got to sing with them!
The guests were in the House to guide the Housemates in the making of a song, which forms part of this week’s Tasks. They were to compose the song, shoot its music video, as well as make a short film.
Immediately after the brief tour and chat with the guests, the Housemates sang their ONE in AFRICA campaign song. They were pleasantly surprised, as the DNA Twins joined in and they all sang while seated in the lounge.
However, it was not long till Biggie sounded the buzzer, signalling that it was time for the guests to leave. The Housemates ‘protested’ and they continued singing with the twins in the kitchen.
Biggie then called Don Jazzy over the intercom system, telling him that it was time for them to leave the House. There was more ‘protesting’ from the Housemates. Biggie then asked them if they would like their guests to stay a bit longer and of course, they responded in unison, saying “Yes Biggie!” It was back to singing and dancing, as they also sang “See Gobbe”, among other songs.
It was only after a while that the guests left the House and the Housemates were left to reminisce about the visit while looking at some of the items the guests gave them as souvenirs.
Four Housemates hanging by a thread
Biggie granted the Ultimate Head of House Efe the special privilege to nominate all Housemates up for eviction.
With the fate of all the Housemates resting on his shoulders, Efe listened through their pitches and pleas and made his choice.
This is what Housemates had to say for themselves:
Marvis: I’m your Big Brother Wife, why nominate me? I have been consistent in my originality since the start.
Bisola: I have always sought out your advice for they are true; Na beg I dey beg keep me safe this week; let’s get to the final together.
Bally: We have grown to know each other, we share similar thoughts as if we share the same kidney.
Bassey: We agree to disagree even though at times we see it in our eyes that we want to beat each other but we work hand in hand in truthfulness.
Debi-Rise: I want to make things right this time around. I am respectful and humble and carry everybody along.
TBoss: One of the first thing you said to me is I don’t get along with light skinned girls and I’m glad I was able to change your mind.
After all was said and done, Efe was called into the diary room and asked to nominate four of the housemates. He nominated Debie-Rise, Bassey, TBoss, and Bally.
