Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly extending his family, with the 32-year-old footballer set to become a dad to twins via an American surrogate.
And she’s apparently due to give birth “very soon”.
Cristiano is currently dating 23-year-old Georgina Rodriguez and it is thought that he will be flying his twins to his home in Spain as soon as they are born.
A source told The Sun: “Cristiano and his family can’t wait to meet the new members of their clan.
“He likes to keep a tight lid on his private life but has told loved ones and close friends the baby boys are due to arrive very soon.
“He feels the time is right for his boy to have brothers to grow up with.
“His mum Dolores will be there to lend a helping hand like she has been with little Cristiano.”
The star is already dad to 7-year-old Cristiano Jr., with it being thought that this was also via surrogacy as the identity of his mother has never been revealed.
However, Cristiano previously defended raising his son without a mum, explaining on The Jonathan Ross Show: “For me it is not a problem. I will say in the world, many kids don’t have mum, don’t have dads or dads die or mums die… Cristiano has a dad, an unbelievable dad.
“[He has] a grandmother, I have the support of my family, great of course.
“Some points in life are private and people have to respect the privacy of other people.
“When Cristiano is going to grow up, I am always, always going to say the truth to him because he deserves it, because he is my son, but I am not going to say because people want me to say.”
The footballer already melts hearts with regular adorable photos of himself with Cristiano Jr. on Instagram, and we are sure that he will be no different with his new arrivals.
Huge congratulations to Cristiano and his growing family!
