“The Lord wants to take you to your next, but first you have to let go off your EX.”
“EX” in this context is not limited to a boyfriend/girlfriend. It refers to all attachments that prevents your elevation and growth spiritually and naturally. All those things and practices that you hold on to so dearly that you think you cannot live without, to the point where they have become your gods.
These unhealthy attachments that causes you to experience ungodly jealousy, that puts you into a state of depression, LET THEM GO!
You’re wondering why sometimes you pray and it seems your prayers just hit the roof and falls back down; everytime you try to move forward you seem to be taking two steps backwards or going around in circles.
See, you can’t keep dancing with the devil then wonder why your life is in hell. You can’t say you want to let go and move on, yet you leave the door half open for the enemy to come in with new devices to distract you from your purpose.
So you say you can’t afford to hurt anyone’s feelings therefore you try to let them down easily, playing it nice and cool. Clearly you’re not sure you’re ready to fully let go, so you leave the door half open.
As the Bible says in James 1:8 “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
You are not truly ready for what you have been praying for; you haven’t been making preparations to receive because you have not closed the door on your EX.
The past really has nothing new to say, why are you holding on expecting it to change…?
We should be happy God is wiser than the prayers we pray, or else we’ll have alot of people walking around heading for destruction, receiving blessings that they wouldn’t know how to handle.
Learn to live without the very thing/person you believe you cannot survive without. Save yourself. Even if it hurts, the pain will heal, Jesus knows how to do that.
The moment you take the limit off God and close the door on all unhealthy attachments, you will begin to see changes in your life. The only relationships you really need to build right now are with God and yourself.
If you become distracted by every little thing, no one needs to tell you you’re not where you are suppose to be spiritually. You have to give yourself time to really learn God and surrender your wills to His and mature in Him.
Stop entertaining distractions if you really don’t want to live there anymore. Stop allowing circumstances to get the best of you. Stop telling yourself that you can’t. Just step out in faith, because it’s really not worth it.
Mark 8:36 “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
Take a bold step and walk away from all the things that weighs you down. Even if you end up walking alone, God will never leave nor forsake you. Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and wait PATIENTLY for Him to add to your life. His will, His way, His time.
