– Apple at it again
– New smart speakers
Apple recently held her Worldwide Developers Conference where it introduced HomePod its upcoming smart speaker during their presentation.
It further announced some desktop OS features for iPad which reveals the company’s plan to become an augmented reality powerhouse. “HomePod plans to reinvent music in our homes,” says Apples senior vice president of worldwide marketing at San Jose Convention Centre in California.
The gadget, HomePod is less than 7 inches tall and it is covered with a seamless 3D mesh fabric which is said to be an incredible acoustic property and the price would be US$350.
The speaker has in it seven tweeters each with drivers that would give the sound a clear directional control. In addition, the device has a 4-inch woofer that used dynamic software modeling to erase distortion as the volume is already.
According to Schiller, the speaker is from an Apple A8 processor, it is perhaps the biggest brain ever in a speaker.” However, it was said that in December the HomePod will become available.
