Manchester United star, Romelu Lukaku became the 28th player in the Premier League’s history to score 100 goals.
This happened on Saturday when he scored a goal four minutes into Manchester United’s 2-0 victory over Swansea.
It should be noted that the Belgian is now the 5th youngest player to reach that record in the Premier League and he reached the mark in 322 days, at the age of 24.
He was able to achieve this milestone in 216 appearances out of which 184 were starts.
The breakdown of the goals
He scored 17 while on loan at West Brom, 68 for Everton, and so far, 15 for Manchester United.
The first four players to achieve that are Michael Owen – 23 years, 134 days, Robbie Fowler, also 23 after 283 days, Wayne Rooney – 24 years, after 100 days, Harry Kane – 24 after 191 days.
After the Saturday match, when interviewed, he said he is very happy to have achieved the milestone.
