-Paul Ilesanmi: Are you not a Marlian?
As I was thinking of what to write today, while I was in the kitchen, cooking, I asked myself this question: are you not a Marlian?
Marlians are those that says they don’t “have manners” so they do “anyhow”
The word Marlian is coined from the name of Nigerian artist who is known for his lewd songs, disruptions and any social vices you can think of.
Has the Marlian spirit not invaded the Church in terms of “Bad mannerism?”
It is bad manner for you to insist on seating on a particular seat in church when the usher is actually directing you to seat in another place for proper orderliness.
It is bad manner to be going out to receive calls incessantly during service. Can’t you silence your phone for that period of time?
ICYMI Last Week’s Episode: Paul Ilesanmi: Humility is a virtue
It is bad manner for you to drop a torn money inside the offering box.
It is bad manner for you to be sleeping while the sermon is going on(lol)
It is bad manner for you to be checking social media platforms during service.
Don’t be a Marlian!
I repeat, don’t be Marlian.
