-Paul Ilesanmi: Story Story
…Something happened to me some days ago and it taught me a lesson.
I opened my laptop to quickly conclude the note I was writing as regards Saturday’s program and to also create some e-book designs.
Lo and behold! I saw that a part of my laptop’s screen was broken.
I was literally angry. How it happened, I did not know.
Throughout that day, I was whining because I know how much it will cost to have it fixed.
It was the left side of the screen that got broken so I could still use it until I am able to fix it.
The next day, while working on some designs, I kept whining not until the Holy Spirit said to me: What if it was the whole screen that got broken, will you be able to do these designs?
That was when it dawned on me that I had been complaining.
On that spot, I repented and started giving thanks that I am still able to use the laptop.
Bishop Oyedepo once said “If you have lost anything, God is the reason you have not lost everything.”

Whatever ‘bad occurrence’ that happens, check very well, you will still see reasons to give thanks.
The reason why joy is lacking at times is because we have refused to focus on what is working.
All our thoughts are focused on what is not working and what is working will instantly cease because there is no ‘fuel’ to keep it burning.
“…all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.” Joel 1:12.
In this season, choose to rejoice, give thanks for everything that is working in your life because for the other things not working, it will not be long, God will show up for you.
